Google Scholar RSS feeds and alerts

Google's index of scholarly literature across publishers, repositories and preprint servers.

Steps

1. Run your search on scholar.google.com.
2. Click the envelope icon (Create alert) in the left sidebar.
3. Enter your e-mail address and click Create alert.

Scholar alerts arrive by e-mail only; Google's help page describes no RSS option. To follow the same topic in a reader, use the journal feeds of your field or a PubMed feed.
