We read more than any generation in history and forget most of it. Vite Research exists to make sure the things you read, highlight and learn stay findable, connected, and yours.
Vite Research began with a familiar frustration: the perfect source, read last week, gone. Buried in history, a closed tab, or a document nobody could find. Bookmarks, read-it-later apps and scratch documents kept the link or the note, never both, and never the page as it was when it was read.
So we built the tool we wished existed: a place where a highlight, its context, its source and the conversation around it live together, from the moment you read it to the moment you cite it, with a copy of the page you can verify.
Muaz Notiar is a fintech consultant and a PhD researcher in environmental policy. He started building Vite Research to support his own research projects, where the sources are web pages that move, change and disappear, and turned it into the product other researchers, students and analysts now use.
Your research is private by default and portable always. Markdown, BibTeX, CSV and JSON exports are built in; nothing is held hostage.
Capturing a thought should be effortless. If a tool slows you down, you stop using it.
An insight without its source is an opinion. Everything you capture keeps its provenance, and saved pages keep a copy you can verify.
The best research compounds across people. Spaces exist so teams can think out loud next to the evidence.
We collect as little as possible and never sell your data. Privacy is the default, not a setting.
We would rather do a few things well than everything badly. No AI features, no feeds of noise.
Vite Research is a Foreranger Ltd product. Write to [email protected] or connect on LinkedIn. We also maintain the Journal Feeds directory: the RSS feeds of more than a thousand journals, validated every month, free for anyone to use.
